About this website

This policy explains how SOL handles information through its website, including SOL.TV, the Solcials experience, and its authorized business portal. It applies to the SOL website currently hosted at sol.knowlescreative.com. Separately operated websites linked from this site, including the external Solmates website, have their own privacy practices.

For privacy questions or requests about your information, contact martin@wearesol.tv.

Information you provide

When you contact SOL, request a quote or discovery call, submit a form, or use an authorized portal account, we process the information you provide. Depending on the feature, this can include your name, company, email address, phone number, project requirements, budget, timeline, message, account information, and related correspondence.

We use this information to respond to inquiries, discuss services, prepare recommendations and estimates, manage client relationships and projects, communicate with you, and protect the website against spam or misuse. Authorized portal users may also provide employee details and business information used to manage website content, projects, and business tools.

Necessary website services

Hosting, network, security, login, and privacy-choice services support the operation of this website. These services may process technical information, including IP addresses, browser information, and requests needed to deliver and protect the website. WordPress uses cookies for authenticated sessions and related account functions.

Necessary services remain available when you reject optional categories. Rejecting optional Analytics does not prevent you from submitting an inquiry or using authorized portal features.

Your privacy choices

Use the consent banner or the persistent Privacy Choices control to allow or reject optional categories. Necessary services are always enabled. Functional, Analytics, and Marketing categories are off until you enable them. A category being available does not mean every service in that category is installed.

Your choices are stored in a browser cookie called bc_privacy_consent_v1 for up to 180 days. Choices apply to this browser on this website. Clearing cookies or using another browser or device may require you to choose again.

You can change or withdraw optional consent through Privacy Choices. Saving your choices reloads the page so services connected to the consent system use the new settings. These controls do not erase information already recorded or control services on external websites.

Optional first-party Analytics

When you enable Analytics, Business Analytics and Business Tools can measure page views, broad device type, referral source, campaign fields, employee page visits, employee QR scans, and contact actions. We use these reports to understand website use and the source of inquiries.

Campaign and employee attribution can use a signed cookie called bc_analytics_touch for up to seven days. It can link a recent campaign or employee visit to a form submission or new lead from the same browser.

Rejecting Analytics prevents the optional first-party website tracker and employee measurement from running. Withdrawing Analytics removes the attribution cookie and stops future optional first-party measurement after the page reloads. It does not erase events or attribution previously recorded.

Forms, contact management, and related communications continue to operate without optional Analytics consent. Their operational records and business reporting events are separate from optional browsing measurement. Removing a contact or submission does not automatically remove historical reporting events.

Videos and external services

This website displays video and other media, including content hosted by Vimeo. Loading or playing externally hosted content can send information such as your IP address, browser details, and the page you are visiting to the provider. The provider may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy policy. The website’s first-party Analytics controls do not by themselves block every external video request.

Email and other connected services may receive information needed to deliver messages or perform the feature you use. Links to social platforms and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.

How long information is kept

We retain inquiry, contact, project, account, correspondence, and reporting records for business administration, ongoing relationships, security, and any applicable recordkeeping requirements. Records may remain until reviewed and deleted; this policy does not promise automatic deletion after a fixed period.

If a feature accepts uploaded files, its configured retention and cleanup process determine when those files are removed. File deletion does not automatically delete related submission text or contact records. Hosting logs, provider records, and backups may have separate retention arrangements.

The 180-day consent-cookie period and seven-day attribution-cookie period describe browser storage, not how long server records are retained.

Requests about your information

Contact martin@wearesol.tv to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have provided. Include enough information to identify the relevant inquiry or account without sending unnecessary sensitive information. We may need to verify your identity. Rights that apply depend on applicable law, and some records may need to be retained for legal, security, or administrative reasons.

Changing browser consent controls future optional tracking. Contact us separately if you want us to review existing records for deletion.

Policy updates

We will update this policy when the website’s data practices change. The date above identifies the most recent update.
